Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How do I make sure the update is working?
When you start a new career, on the screen where you select your database, make sure the custom editor data file is ticked. If it is, you’re good to go.
Will this update slow down my game?
Adding a comprehensive data file can sometimes slightly increase loading times, but it shouldn’t have a major impact on match engine performance. It depends on your computer’s specs.
Can I add this update to an existing save game?
Unfortunately, no. Data updates like this one require you to start a new career to take effect. They change the core database, which is locked in once a save is created.
What if a transfer is missing or a player is at the wrong club?
Dedicated community members make these updates, but they’re human. If you spot an error, you can usually report it on the forum or website where you downloaded the file. They appreciate the feedback.
